Synopsis
A 21-year-old university student submits a final paper through his school’s portal at 8:13 a.m., only to be called before the Dean of Academic Affairs later that day when the submission is flagged as AI-generated and marked “FAIL.” After returning to his dorm and working through the night, he sends the Dean a new message explaining how he used AI while retaining authorship of the work, leaving the Dean to decide what to do with the submission.
