The First Step

Synopsis

A widowed man sits alone at home holding a prescription bottle and an invitation to dinner from a woman he has been corresponding with, while a photograph and urn memorialize his late wife. The medication’s side effects and flashes of physical difficulty contrast with the invitation and his memories, placing him at the threshold of deciding whether to remain inside his grief or take a first step toward something new.
